Rolling Hills Festival

Over the weekend of July 23, 24 and 25th The Rolling Hills Folk Club brings you a weekend of folk song, music and dance, topped off with a beer festival and a craft fair.

 

Friday night at the Wynd Theatre features a concert hosted by Ian Abernethy with guests Bob Knight and Susie Kelly.

Meanwhile, over in the Corn Exchange there will be a ceilidh with Brechin, Wilkinson and Martin.

 

Saturday morning in the Corn Exchange there will be a craft fair from 10:00 am to 2:00pm bringing you the amazing crafts from the immediate area of Melrose.

 

Saturday night is the main concert in the Corn Exchange with:-

Ian Davison and Carissa Bovill

Sylvia Barnes and Sandy Stanage

and Archie Fisher

 

On Sunday there will be a family concert from 2:00pm to 5:30pm with mainly local performers including Fiddler’s Leap and members of Borders Fiddle Group

 

Sessions will be in The King’s Arms and the George and Abbotsford Hotel who will also host their famous beer festival.
